A Go For It Grant of £300 has been approved to cover some of the costs of the Christmas Lunch at the Harleston Sancroft Academy.

The lunch generally accommodates between 60 and 70 people from the surrounding area. Often these are elderly residents who are lonely and isolated. The event brings these people together every year since 2009 and provides an enjoyable day out and also a hot meal for those who may need it.

Invites are sent out to those in residential homes, nursing homes and sheltered housing as well as local community groups. The event will take place on Wednesday 6th December 2023.
