Harleston Information Plus - Welcome Packs

A Go For It Grant of £300 has been approved to cover some of the costs of Welcome Packs produced by Harleston Information Plus (HIP)

When new residents moving into Harleston and the surrounding area visit the Harleston Information Centre seeking information about the area, HIP give them a canvas bag containing an appropriate selection of local information, tailored to their requirements.

This lapsed during the Covid pandemic and they wish to restart the practice. They have requested funds to stock up with 250 canvas bags, bearing the Harleston town logo and motto 'Time for Everyone'

The bags would be given out free of charge to newcomers, ensuring they receive the appropriate information in a convenient and attractive form. The practice portrays a positive message about the town and how they welcome people into the community. They can be used to highlight services as well as nearby attractions, promote the new council Visit Harleston website, community nature recovery work and local volunteer groups.
