A grant of £300 was given to the Primary Phase of the school to restore a derelict pond uncovered in their grounds. Volunteers have cleared the area to provide somewhere for pupils to learn about nature as part of the community nature recovery work within Harleston. They now require a bridge to provide a safe environment.

The bridge would allow the pupils of the Primary Phase of the school to get closer to, and learn more about with nature in a safe environment and enhance their understanding of conservation and protecting endangered species. It would be delivered by volunteers thereby helping the community to help themselves. It will also allow timely funding for a very small initiative within the community.
