Action not Words
My Environmental Policy Commitment to You
You can judge me on my actions. I made commitments when standing for election. I spoke about these when meeting people. I will be open with you and report progress. I will deliver on my promises.

Things don't go quickly in Council circles. A lot of work is required to get ideas accepted and implemented. However, I am proud of my achievements in progressing the community focused work to help nature recovery and conservation which started in Harleston, grow and encompass the entire district.
In December 2023, I presented a motion for South Norfolk Council to reinforce their support for nature recovery. It was agreed to endorse the community nature recovery approach pioneered by Harleston and to encourage Parish councils across the district to implement the model in their own communities. This is a recognition of the good work of people within Harleston on this very important topic.
In February 2025, I seconded and supported a motion to creation a Nature Conservation Fund to help communities deliver small nature conservation projects. The motion was passed unanimously and has funded eleven projects across the district. Harleston received a £10,000 grant and I am helping Harleston Greenspace CIC in the delivery of a vision for Harleston.
